The Affordable Care Act - Obamacare - is policy that moves in the direction that says "we are our brothers and sisters keeper".
The repeal of the Affordable Care Act that the Republican administration and Congress intends to do, is a policy direction that says to millions and millions of people: "you're on your own".
Equally, the policies in regard to how we care for the Earth – or disregard the Earth – can be seen with the Obama Administration as moving in the direction of “We are the caretakers of this beautiful and sacred Earth, and we are responsible to the Earth for the present and for future generations”.
The policy directions of the incoming Trump Administration aims in the direction that "The rights of corporations to plunder the Earth shall not be infringed upon by the harm caused to the Earth (and) aggressively asserts the right and 'freedom' to deliberately disregard the effects on the Earth and bear no responsibility for doing so”
We, as a people have to decide who we are, what we support, what we stand for, and what we stand against.
May the response of Light awaken in our hearts, and through this may we bring that Light to the world that sorely needs it. May the hearts of All awaken, as we each seek to awaken in this time to the deeper truths and callings that live within us.
