Purpose of any Business or Organization

The purpose of any business or organization is to contribute to the larger society of which is part.

Therefore it is crucial for any organization, and anyone who is part of or connected with that organization, to continually ask: 

- "how are we contributing to the whole of which are part?; what is the good we are creating?" 

as well as to ask 

- "what are the things we are doing, or the practices we are engaged in, that may seem to benefit the organization the which we are promoting but which fail to benefit, or which harm in some way, the greater whole of which we are part."

Anyone, at any level of any group, organization, business, corporation, or even state or country, can ask these questions. 

The answers point us to the future, the steps to take, the paths we need to walk.  And the changes we need to make.
