"What Explains U.S. Mass Shootings? International Comparisions Suggest an Answer" (NY Times article)

The NY Times article below reports that there are so many more guns in this country, compared to almost anywhere in the world. (An additional factor is how lax the United States is regarding gun ownership and regulation.) Perhaps if more people knew this, and were able to resist being misled or confused by gun lobby propaganda, we would change the laws in this country.
