One World:  Making the Transition

The purpose of this blog is to carry the banner of peace:  to explore, point the way, catalyze, step toward, and bring peace on earth.  It is intended to do so by opening avenues for new ways of being, feeling, thinking, doing, and cooperating -  in our day to day lives and in the affairs of organizations and nations – on behalf of all people, and all the life of the earth.

The purpose is:
- to challenge us to perceive truth, act in love, and live with faith and courage from the foundation of peace itself;
- to help us understand that when we act on the basis of our fears, our actions inevitably lead to the very things we fear;
- to invite and support us to learn to live in love at all times, to uncover all that is not of love, and to heal all that is separated from love ~
For such is the path of peace.

We are at a time as humanity, when we can increasingly apply these truths to not only in our daily lives, but in how we act collectively – in groups and communities, through organizations and governments, as peoples and nations.  We are One World.  Learning to live this is requiring radical shifts in how we are in the world, but we are ready as the human family to begin this journey.  I believe we are aching to begin – because of our longing for what is deepest in our hearts of peace and goodness to come into being, and because of the desire to end the needless suffering in the world.
It will call out of us a kind of courage to be, and to act, in ways that collectively we have never done before in the history of humanity.  It will also ask of us the courage to refrain from acting in ways that are also unprecedented in human civilization.   Trusting in the truth of peace, and experiencing the Source of peace, is the basis upon which such profound change will be created.  As it has been said, “Peace is the way”.  Remembering to be this, in all our actions and deliberations, is how the world will change.

We are an extraordinary family of humankind -  living on this beautiful earth, with a profound collective destiny and spiritual purpose.  The more each person grows to have real experiences of these things,  the more that  peace will come to the world.  For to know this, one can only irrevocably turn to being loving kindness toward one another, taking care of one another, and learning to not seeing the ‘other’ as enemy.

 Peace is founded in the Divine – whatever way one may fathom the mystery of Beingness and Cosmos of which we are part.  The journey into the future of peace is coming on the wings of imagination, passion, courage, and devotion.  It is coming from innocence and trust.   It is coming from the willingness to release ways of being and acting that we have held onto for security that do not in truth make us secure.  It is coming from learning to love others and self fully, and from the healing and forgiveness that makes this possible.

Let is begin. Let us trust.  If you look in your deepest of hearts – deeper than pain, disillusionment, fear, sorrow, or disbelief  – there is a knowing that people can live in peace.  You are here to help create this.  We are here to do this together.  Let us reach for that which is truest and most loving.  What will come into  the world of peace, through the guidance and blessing of the Divine joined with the highest aspirations of each of us, is more than our conscious selves may ever have dared to dream.
