Inner Peace Vigil: Korea

I noticed within myself that there is a place of deep quiet, regarding the situation in relation to North Korea at present. It is not that I am unaware of the storm-clouds that have been drummed up in the past weeks of escalation, and the darkness that this belies. But alongside of the situation – with its motivations based on fear, abuse of power, and misdirected desire for recognition – my heart beats quietly and strongly on behalf of all souls connected with this situation. My heart beats steadily with the truth that lives deep within each soul, created by the Divine, unaffected by the energies of darkness. Deep within me, there is a place of quiet, of prayer like a vigil in the background…. holding a space of light and truth on behalf of all souls who are involved directly or indirectly in decisions related to Korea, North and South, and all countries connected.

My inner being holds a knowing that each person is a soul, and that in some way the truth of the soul can penetrate through layers of darkness. The more that the inner soul can be accessed, or can percolate more toward the surface, the more that decisions can be made that steer away from crisis and toward some greater reconciliation with truth.

The heart of my soul extends the peace of my inner being, to the souls of all involved, in friendship of the soul. Bringing with it the message of the safety inherent in the friendship of the soul - and value and importance of supporting life for all concerned.

May we find new ways of extending the prayers of our hearts and our souls to one another, wherever it is needed.
