"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

We are moving into a new time, an new stage in the development of America, a new understanding of the meaning of
freedom.

We are moving to a time when we will know that none of us is truly free, when any one of us is not.

To the extent that any of us exercise individual freedom in ways that compromise another's inalienable rights, then both we and they are less free, and less in integrity with who each of us truly is.

A new understanding of what freedom is, and the meaning of our relationships with all our neighbors, is what will be born.
