President Barack Obama - Inaugural Address

I am so deeply moved by the depth of President Barack Obama, in his commitment to the enduring values and ideals that formed this great and precious nation, embodied in his Second Inaugural Address. I am moved by his calling us to the equality, compassion, responsibility, and unity which are the true and necessary means by which we must navigate the near future. All people matter - truly, deeply, equally. I am profoundly moved, as well, by the deptlh of President Obama’s call that we respond to great need of the Earth’s climate – on behalf of the generations to come.

Great blessings to the heart that moves with us, and to the spirit that moves upon the waters within us. May we rise to the full measure of who each of us is, with full expression of love for one another and for the earth. May the future of peace, joy, and promise the dwells within each breast, become the reality that we share in together, as a sacred country, as a sacred world. May we be willing to take the steps forward now, that bring that future into being.
