Prayer for the Elephants

I send prayers that humanity awaken to the our oneness with all the beautiful creatures of the earth, and cease the killing and loss of other species. Elephants - whose great love and trumpeting of God so resonates in the Earth - have recently and increasingly been killed in ways that are more alarming. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/08/world/africa/ivory-poachers-kill-11-elephants-in-park-in-kenya.html?ref=world I pray for the awakening of humanity's consciousness to our relationship with the Elephants, and to their need - that we collectively come to treasure their life, and protect them, as we also cherish and protect all life.
